Introduction
Wolf MediaCorp Ltd, a private limited company incorporated in England and Wales (company number 17399045), registered office 128 City Road, London EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom ("FanTribz", "we", "us", "our"), operates the website and application fantribz.com (the "Platform"). We are the data controller of the personal data we process in connection with the Platform.
This Privacy Policy ("Policy") explains what personal data we collect, how and why we use it, who we share it with, how long we keep it, and the rights you have. It applies to Creators, Fans, people who feature in a Creator's content, and visitors. We process personal data in line with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018, and with other privacy laws that apply to you.
This Policy supplements, but does not form part of, our Terms of Service. Our data-protection contact is legal@fantribz.com.
1. Who this applies to (18+)
The Platform is strictly for adults. You must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where you live, if higher) to use it. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18, and will delete it if we learn we have. Where a Creator uploads content featuring someone else, that Creator is responsible for that person's data; this Policy covers FanTribz's own processing.
2. The personal data we collect
Depending on how you use the Platform, we collect and process the following categories of personal data:
Data you give us
- Identity data: name, date of birth, nationality, and (for Creators) the details on your verification documents.
- Contact data: email address and, where provided, phone number.
- Account data: handle, display name, bio, avatar and banner, password (stored only as a secure one-way hash), preferences, and settings.
- Verification data: for Creators, government ID and a selfie or liveness check used to confirm age and identity (see Section 8).
- Payment data: the information needed to take payments and make payouts, such as billing details, payout method, and tax information. Full card and bank details are handled by our payment provider, not stored by us.
- Content: the posts, images, video, audio, and messages you upload or send, and any documentation you provide (for example, consent or release records for people featured in content).
- Communications: support, complaint, and other messages you send us.
Data we collect automatically
- Usage data: how you use the Platform, such as logins, content you view, and interactions.
- Technical data: IP address, device and browser information, and similar identifiers, used to operate and secure the service.
Data we receive from third parties
- Results and records from our identity-verification and fraud-prevention providers, and referral information.
We may combine these to run, personalise, secure, and improve the Platform.
3. How we collect your data
We collect personal data directly from you (when you register, complete your profile, upload content, transact, or contact us), automatically (as you use the Platform, and through strictly-necessary cookies), and from our service providers (such as verification results from our identity-verification providers).
4. How we use your data and our lawful bases

5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to operate and secure the Platform, and we do not use them to track you across other websites. For full detail on the cookies we use and how to manage them, please view our Cookie Policy.
6. Who we share your data with
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where necessary, and with appropriate data-processing agreements in place, with the following categories of recipients:
- Hosting, database, and infrastructure providers: to run and store the Platform.
- Content storage and delivery providers: to store and securely deliver media.
- Content-moderation providers: to screen uploaded content for illegal or prohibited material.
- Identity-verification and fraud-prevention providers: to verify Creators' age and identity.
- Payment providers: to process payments and payouts.
- Communication and customer-support providers: to send service email and handle your queries.
- Professional advisers: such as lawyers, accountants, and auditors, where needed.
- Authorities and organisations: law enforcement, regulators, tax authorities, and child-safety bodies (including, where relevant, the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children), where the law requires or permits, or to protect users and the public.
- A buyer or successor: in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
The Platform may link to third-party websites we do not control; this Policy does not cover their practices, and we encourage you to read theirs.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers are located outside the United Kingdom, including in the United States. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we rely on an appropriate safeguard, such as a UK adequacy decision, Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Addendum to those Clauses. You can ask us for detail at legal@fantribz.com.
8. Age and identity verification data
To publish content or receive payouts, Creators must complete age and identity verification, and in some places Fans may be asked to confirm their age. Our verification uses facial-recognition and liveness technology to match a selfie or short video against a government-issued identity document. We carry this out ourselves, and we may also use approved third-party providers acting on our behalf, now or in the future. So we, or a third-party provider acting on our behalf, may collect and hold the information used to verify you: your identity document, the selfie or video, your name and date of birth, the facial-matching (biometric) data, and the verification result and time.
Because this involves biometric data, which is a special category of data under UK and EU law, we process it only with your explicit consent, given when you begin verification. We keep the biometric matching data (the facial template our system creates to compare your selfie with your ID) only for as long as we need it to complete the check, and, where you consent, to let you re-verify later. We then delete it. We separately keep your verification records, such as the identity document and the details we are legally required to retain, for the periods the law requires. All of this is held in a segregated, encrypted store. It is never accepted by email, never used for marketing, and is subject to enhanced security.
9. How long we keep your data
We keep personal data only for as long as we need it for the purposes in this Policy, or for as long as the law requires. In general that means for the life of your account, for a limited period after your account is closed, and longer where we have to keep it for legal, tax, verification, safety, or legal-claims reasons. Records relating to suspected child sexual abuse material are preserved as required by law and are not deleted when an account is deleted. After the applicable period, data is securely deleted or anonymised.
10. How we protect your data
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect your data against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including encryption, access controls, and secure storage of sensitive data such as identity documents. No method of transmission or storage over the internet is completely secure, however, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the Platform at your own risk, and you are responsible for keeping your login details confidential.
11. Your rights
Subject to conditions and exceptions, you have the right to access your data, to correct it, to erase it, to restrict or object to its processing, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent (which does not affect processing already carried out). You also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk, or to your local data-protection authority, though we would appreciate the chance to resolve it with you first.
To exercise any right, contact legal@fantribz.com. We will respond within the time the law allows (generally one month under UK GDPR), and we may need to verify your identity first. Some data cannot always be deleted on request, for example records we must keep for tax, verification, or safety reasons, and deleting your account does not automatically remove co-authored content posted by another Creator.
12. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the Platform, and the "Last Updated" date at the top always shows the current version.
